Sunshine Smiles

Whats up everyone! Im finally doing a fashion post!!! I was so excited about today. I had plenty of time before I go into work to take some fashionable pictures! I was up early, went for a run, and did some yoga! When you start the day off like that, it makes you feel good and all day Ive been in such a great mood! As a surprise, Bob bought me a whole watermelon! (yes thats a surprise for me, it doesnt take much to please me lol) In this hot Florida weather, watermelons are great, so juicy and delicious!

This dress has been calling to me from my closet, it needed to be worn.




I really have been itching to blog all week. First I was sick, then its been work and getting home late and when I get home, that last thing I wanna do is get pretty after Ive been busting it at Winners all night. Now its really starting to get to hot to be outside mid-day. I was starting to sweat and I was only outside for 10 minutes. I knew this was going to be a hot summer because we had a really cold winter, but on top if it being really hot, our hurricane season will be starting soon. Thats fine with me if you ask, I say let it rain as much as it want, because then Im not sweating my behind off wearing a black long sleeve shirt with my work shirt and jeans before I go into work.







Im so glad I got to do this today. I will be going thrifting tomorrow with my mom and plan to find lots of goodies! Things Im actually looking for, dark brown high waist pants, swim suit, denim shorts and frames. I hope everyone is has a great weekend and a relaxing holiday! Me and the ducks are just hanging out! DIY Sunglasses!

Hey everyone! So today I DIY these sunglasses that Ive had forever. As if I need another pair of black shades, I decided to revamp them, Gaga style. I probably spent a good 45 minutes trying to decide what to put on them, I have all these jewel things my mom let me have and a hot glue gun and pretty much went to town! It was super easy! I do suggest you test out a few things before you start gluing though!

So these are the sunglasses




And heres all the gems I pretty much dumped all over my bed.


Heres the funny, thing, I didnt use any of those!!! hahaha, I had to pick them all up and put them back into the bag. I ended up liking the clear ones more.

The final result!


I think that came out pretty bad ass I must say! I cant wait to rock my sunglasses at night.

Things Im saving up for!

Since Im finally having my one money coming in! Im going to start actually getting the things I want and saving up for them, sadly they're all so expensive lol. First things first though, the complete Floor "Below & Beyond" box set. There were only 305 made and I just saw that there are only 70 left, and this is a must have. Its $249.99 plus $40.00 shipping. Its the most expensive item but as a collector and huge fan of the band and friend to them, I would regret not having this.



Next would have to be these two sketch books by Steve Bryne and Chad Koeplinger. Both two amazing tattoo artist who I admire so much.

Something not so expensive lol, I have really been wanting a Thomas Hooper shirt for some time now, just never really had the money to splurge on it. His shirt is $24.


And to follow that, the cheapest thing on my list, the Doomriders vinyl "Darkness Come Alive". Thomas Hooper did a lot of their art work and its a non-expensive way to own something he drew lol, plus that album is soooo good! I found a copy on ebay for $12-$18.


Theres a bunch of other things obviously but this is a little taste of what Ill be working towards, along with a new car. I hope everyone's having a good week! Xo!

Back from the dead

Hey everyone. So for the last 3 days Ive been really sick. I had a super busy weekend then got majorly ill. Im so sorry I havent posted anything lately. Starting my new job, my blog has kinda had to take a back seat. Im still adjusting to everything and trying to make time for all the projects I do on the side now. I had an intestinal virus, so needless to say the last 3 days have been hell, hoarding up in the bathroom all night, dehydrated, hungry but couldnt keep anything down. Today is the first day Ive felt someone normal again. I some how managed to pull through for work Monday but when I got home I was just so sick. On a good note! I got a new iPod touch, which I must say...is pretty awesome, I would have been happy with a classic but this one is way fancy lol. I also heard from Josh the other day, which obviously put a smile on my face, I believe it was 12am in Qatar. So Ill get back into the swing of things soon! Dont lose faith in me lolz. I love you all! XO!

Kaitlin's Birthday weekend!!!

At midnight it was my best friend Kaitlin's birthday!!!! In honor of this awesome occasion! we went out to the Castle last night and had a ball!! It was just me and her, and I hope she had a good time, because I had so much fun.

I took my Pisschrist shirt and made it into a new crop top lol, since thats awesomely coming back! I cut my shirt before we headed out, threw on my cadet hat and put a PBR pin on it. All in all, it was a good outfit put together in 5 minutes and we both looked ballin!



I have been soooo happy all week! Im so glad I got to kick off her birthday in style. We have an epic weekend ahead of us! Tonight! We're going to see The Wailers (Bob Marley's band) we're going with my Aunt Dee and staying the night at her place....I think Im a little more excited to see my baby girl Betty (my cat lol). Tomorrow, I have to come home and sleep all day because I have work 5-10, then me and Eric are shooting over to St Pete for Kaitlins hotel party! Sunday is going to be chill, because its been a long week, and its gonna be a long weekend haha. I couldnt be happier and just thrilled with life at the moment.



Since I started work I havent had much time to blog and take pictures. My work attire is jeans and my Winners shirt...nothing fancy there, although, Ive been wearing bows in my hair lol. Ive been getting home around 11/11:30 all week. As soon as I ease into things Ill get back into posting more! XOXO everyone, and I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Toga! Toga! Toga!

Toga Party!!!! Saturday was Josh's going away on deployment/birthday party! His roommates Eric and Ryan threw it for him, needless to say, it was my first toga party and it was ballin!



What a great time, my girl Kaitlin even came out to party with us and brought a new friend! I spent all weekend at Josh's, he was the perfect gentleman the whole time, even took me to my interview Saturday (WHICH I GOT!!!). His roommates Eric and Ryan, great guys, made me feel welcomed and included me in things! We went out bar hoping in St. Pete. Friday night with Eric's gf Becka too and shes such a sweetheart!!

Again it was a great weekend! Josh wont be back till August but times gonna fly by because I finally got a job!!! Im the new waitress at Winners Sports Bar in Tampa, FL! I even served a man today who just got home from Iraq, while saying goodbye to Josh, the man asked for a PBR and I was more than happy to serve him. Things are finally looking good! Good Morning!

Good Morning to everyone! I have a lovely routine that I usually do every time I wake up at home haha. I start off with a cup of tea, usually peppermint. I check all my emails, and play my Peggy Lee records. Im a sucker for vintage lounge wear! My mom actually found the red night dress for me and I really love it. Shes so great. The silk robe was gifted to me from my Aunt Dee! Its so pretty, it has a dragon on the back of it.

Day and Night

Hey everyone!!! I hope everyone's week has been good! Mine has been really fulfilling. I got a bunch of goodies thrifting and shopping with my mom, we found a Christian Dior suit at goodwill for $6, um and its soooo pretty! I am happy to say things have been picking up for me lately, Ive been hanging out with friends and meeting awesome new people! Yesterday I decided to dress a little nicer than I had been in the week, typically you can catch me in shorts and a band t-shirt. Also, I had to wear something that didnt bother my new tattoo, because it comes all the way up to my hip. We went to Brandon Mall, and needless to say I dont go to malls anymore, but it was entertaining.

The purse! New! Bought it this week at our secret place! Its leather vintage COACH! (it was $3!! my mom found it, I cant take credit for it)

SO! The top! New! My grams bought it for my sister and I really liked it.... I was gonna steal it from her anyways, but she tried it on and it did nothing for her! So I got it anyways and it looks sooo cute on me! Grams bought it at Macy's. So to the day and night reference! I wore that top during the day and around 5pm I got asked out on a date!!! This gentleman Josh who I had meet at the beach lol, asked me out for drinks! I really didnt want to change because the shorts I was wearing are such a pain to get on and off and especially with a fresh tattoo on my thy. Well I remembered I bought a new black skirt at Macys (it was $4!) and a belt from our secret place. I changed and took a day outfit and made it night time ready!!! I was so proud of myself.







My date was great! It seriously was the best first date Ive been on. He was such a gentleman and so sweet and I just cant wipe the smile off my face. I see all these lovely ladies blogs that I follow and they have such cool boyfriends, sometimes it makes me feel a little bummed out, but never the less, when its suppose to happen it will! From day to night, I made this outfit work!

I have lots of new stuff to post, all kinds of great outfits I bought and something new to sell on my Etsy Store. I usually dont like to type to much because I personally dont like reading a bunch lol, but sometimes its needed. To those of you who are following me, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Panther Power!

I seriously think this is my biggest tattoo yet? idk! haha. I was told today I need to stop counting since I have more than like 10 haha. My friend Jarrod told me that today. Dan and I still have our "tattoo" bet. Its now including myself, Jarrod, Dan and another lady tattooed like myself. We all have to be done in a certain amount of time....my time? Is when I turn 25, I have to be modestly done by 25, meaning I gotta finish my sleeve, finish my panther and start on my back to finish it off and be the first to have my back body suit! I will do it! haha.

I will be back in with Dan the 2ed week of June to get back in and start filling in ALL the black! Theres going to be so much black in this its soooooo great!!!!!! I cant wait, but at the same time I hate getting tattooed haha. Yes the panther hurt, outlines hurt way more than shading and I had a large area covered, especially on my hip and side knee.

My first beach day of the summer!

Ive been really busy lately, but Ive got to have some pretty awesome days! I went to the beach with my new friend Kaitlin who is so great! She introduced me to several lovely ladies who I had a really fun beach day! The first of few haha. I try to get tattooed a lot during the summer so I have a reason not to go to the beach and its a lot easier to not have to wear jeans or long sleeves and have a fresh tattoo...soooo uncomfortable. I have about 30 tattoos and its a lot to cover with sun screen but I still got a bit sun burnt, boo. Anyways! The swim suit is actually a "new" item lol. I got it at good will recently and its like 90's. Still had the tag on it, never worn. I was pretty excited about it.

It was a great beach day all in all! The sun burn wasn't to bad so totally worth it. I really want to acquire a vintage swim cap with all the little bright flowers all over it for the next beach day.
