Hey everyone! I wanted to take a minute and just share how much Im in love with this song. Im not a huge fan of most new music and I dont listen to the radio but I caught this song over the TV and since Ive checked it out I love love love it! Im talking about Neon Trees song Animal.

I ended up downloading the whole CD and its actually really good. I can be a sucker for catchy tunes, but I was really pleased with the whole album. Neon Trees album Habits is defiantly one to check out!

Men who have captured my heart.

I have just been chilling at home and not really inspired by anything in my closet at the moment. It happens! So I wanted to share with you all a post of the men who are right now stealing my heart. Today I watched the season finally of U.S. of Tara, and Glee. Both two shows I love to watch. I have to say, the men of the shows have taken me by surprise, and I think they are amazing.

I love! John Corbett. He is the man that we all want when we're in our 30's and 40's, because he is amazing, handsome, funny and hangs around when things get tough. John I love you.


Next I watched Glee tonight, and I have to say Im very taken by then new starlet Cory Monteith. Not only can he sing, he's amazingly handsome and a good actor. He takes my breath away on Glee and Im bumbed that I have to wait all season for the new season to start lol. Hes the all American guy and just so amazing.


Keeping in theme with men who sing, Elvis Costello has been driving me wild lately. I love him so much and his music. His charm and talent makes him so amazingly handsome to me. I would love to get a Costello tattoo at some point.


As always, Billy Bragg you are a constant love of my life. Even in your older age, you were a handsome young man and I love you everyday for your music and inspiration you give me.


Robert Pattinson, you are just gorgeous.


And not to be a total nerd, but yes, Josh you've made this list of handsome men lol. I miss you so much! And I hope you are doing very well and I cant wait till you come back!

In the world of Lovely Leigh

Hey everyone!!! I wanted to take a few minutes to share some amazing news with everyone! I received an email today letting me know I am going to be featured on ModCloth.com for the fashion finds posts! It wont be for another few weeks, but I could not be happier! I am so proud of myself and my blog and how far its all come!

Things have been a little up and down for me the last few days, but as my lovely best friend Kaitlin said today, it isnt always going to be like this. So I continue to push through and keep positive. Ive started to do yoga at The Lotus Pond and I feel so great. I cant wait to get my yoga instructor certification with my Aunt Dee! Ive started painting again, I took a little break from it when I started working, I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I think Ive finally got a nice balance of things going on, with work and all my side projects. Things in the studio have been really good as well!

Happy 100 posts!!!!!

Hey everyone!!! Guess what! This is my 100th blog post!!!! Im so happy and this is such a big deal to me. I started this blog August 6th of 2008 and Im so impressed with how far its come along. I have 22 followers! Thats so great! A big thank you goes out to all my followers and to the people who check out my blog! I love you all!!!

FLOOR Friday

I declare it FLOOR Friday! Sorry everyone, this is my favorite band/band t and I wear it an awful lot. Yet I took a plain ole band t-shirt and still made it look hot! I love pairing black and yellow together! Its like one of the happiest colors with the darkest color and it makes for such a pairing! Red lips top off any outfit!

I can not stress to you all enough how AMAZING it is to have my nice camera back!!! I have been going picture crazy hahaha. Its helping me keep my mind off certain things as well, so its all for the best. Canon Power!

Omg! SO! I used to be a band photographer and I had a really nice Canon Rebel XTi. One day I went to go use it and it was gone, I honestly thought someone had stolen it, I had a lot of stuff stolen when I lived at the house on 14th St. It turns out, I left it here on accident and Bob has had it the whole time.... lets say over a year now. What a relief to know I didnt have to buy a new one! He let me use my camera today and the quality is just so much nicer.

I finally cut these shorts to the length that I wanted! Its getting hot here in Florida, shorts are a must!










Ugh! I have missed my camera soooooo much! I really do feel so much better about blogging now that I have something super nice to take pictures with. My goals of a successful blog are looking way brighter!


And again, Im very proud of myself for blogging on my day off instead of wasting it away doing nothing haha. When I wasnt working I always felt so bad if I didnt do something, but now, naaaa. I work really hard when Im at work so its ok to do nothing now lol. Yes, I justify things to myself sometimes too haha. I hope everyone's week is going by ok! Tomorrow's Friday finally! Over the weekend

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a lovely holiday, now back to work for all of you. I had to work last night but since it was so slow I ended up getting cut earlier and went over to Sara's to hang out. This weekend was really nice, my mom came over and Sunday we went to Goodwill. I was on a mission to find some high waist slacks for the USO photo shoot. I ended up finding the perfect pair and a top and beautiful blazer to go with! Sunday was a success!











While I was waiting to try things on, I found this amazing hand made jumpsuit. I dont know why Im into pants right now, especially when its 94 degrees outside in Florida, but this jumpsuit is amazing!






My mom found this little number for me, these little mexican dresses are so comfy to wear and if accessorized properly can look adorable!






Then my grams found me this cute romper! Its pink, and yes I dont wear pink, but when I put it on, the color is more like a pink rose and looked really pretty against my skin. Its so comfy to wear too, I love to just throw these on and go!




I got a few other things, but Im going to save those for later. Something I personally bought, I found this at Charlie's Thrift, its kind of a hit of miss place but when you hit, you score big. I saw this and actually talked the lady down from $8 to 5 dollars, and bought a dress too. It made me think of Josh in a silly way, and since it was only $5, why not.


Today being my day off Im very proud of myself for taking pictures in my new things and blogging! Since I started working Ive been trying to adjust to finding time for everything. I have been more than ok to let my painting slide for the last 2 weeks. I am going to frame all the things that I do have finished and have those set aside for up coming art shows. Its all about balance and I think Im finally starting to find that. Its been really awesome too hanging out with Sara over at her house, right around the corner from mine. Things have been really good and Im hoping June will fly by! XO everyone!!
