Patsy Cline inspiration

Well when I had originally asked for outfit advice, all I said was "I have Peggy Lee big hair, what kind of photos should I take tonight?" I texted, and the text I got back said, "something in plaid, maybe start with a dress and stockings...". So thanks to Jarrod I came up with this Peggy Lee/Pasty Cline thing lol. The post before this is the Peggy Lee stuff, I love her to much it was a big post, had to make these separate. I couldnt find this one thing to go with my plaid dress, so I opted for way cuter shorts and plaid shirt.

**Hair credit goes to the lovely Julie of Orchid Grey (http://orchidgrey.blogspot.com/) She did a hair post on how she gets her hair so big and I did it and LOVE it!!! Ive been rocking it for the last 2 days now!**

Peggy Lee I love you

Peggy Lee is my top 10 favorite lady. I love her music, her look, everything she did was amazing. I am a huge record collector and I have 11 of her records now, with my pride and joy being my "Black Coffee" LP. I went to go take pictures in the gown last night and wasnt to happy with them, so I only have 1 Peggy Lee inspired look, but a ton of pictures of her and the records of hers I have. I should more record posts up...

Art, walks, and punx mood swings

Ive been creating projects to do during the day and painting is one of them. I have been really behind on that and I finally really started working on this flash board for a good friend of mine. Ive been promising Tyler this for months now, and seeing as how he's my best friend.... I probably should start that before painting something new lol.

After working soooo hard on that (lolz right) I needed a break and a new drink! So since my friends bailed on me, we were suppose to go out, my hair looked really awesome, but the only person who saw me was the corner store guy lol. Ah need to look tough when you're out walking, that way no one messes with you. I kinda went into punk mode today. I threw on my favorite band shirt, my FLOOR shirt, same jeans and grabbed a Four Loko up the street lol.

In the FACE!

So I get a lot of comments and compliments on my glasses! I just wanted to throw it out there that yes they are amazing vintage. They're from the 60's and I bought them at La France in Tampa, Florida (in Ybor). Ive have always been known for wearing vintage eye wear. These are to pretty to pass on just yet....all though they are slowing falling apart, time to find a back up pair! I also have my nose pierced. I typically wear a ring in it unless Im around family. And finally, no look of my is ever complete with out beautiful red lips!

I love them so much, I think i really did a good job on interrupting that. The jeans in the first few shots are actually really high wasted. That jacket, haha I found at Wet Seal a few years ago, it was totally on sale and I thought I was so cool, lol it came in great handy tonight. The sunglasses I bought at this place I used to work at. They're crooked but not bad enough where they are wearable. Those boots have been stompin all over! I walked all through New Orleans in them, any time I go out I wear them, they are fantastic and I paid $4 for them! lol. I love a great find! No outfit is complete with out some red lips and a little red bow!

Fashion Monsters are coming!

So all day me and my mom, who gladly helped and took these pictures for me lol, we've been joking so much about Lady Gaga and how see calls everyone (her fans) little monsters! So we've just been having a ball with that. Sadly she wasnt into taking pictures how I wanted, but theses were just as fun.

So my mom throws this dress at me from my closet, said put it on and meet me outside in 5! lol, so I threw on some tights, picked out a hot pair of shoes and for some reason decided that an Ostrich blue feathers hat was needed! It matched my tights so amazingly, ugh I didnt even plan that out. I love when stuff like that comes together unplanned! The dress tho....a little to short, and tight lol. Its some dancers costume I found at good will. The sheer shiny parts show my stomach tattoos though. These were so much fun to do with my mom, it was hard not to laugh though. Every time she went to take a picture, she'd make this weird noise and Id try so hard not to laugh!

Dress: Dance costume, thrifted
Tights: Goodwill
Shoes: (both shoes) Bakers shoes, gifted
Hat: Vintage Ostrich feathers dyed blue, ebay
Necklace: Forever21
